it was so important because they needed to either win and keep a clean sheet, but if they didnt keep a clean sheet they had to win by two clear goals becasue of goal difference, considering this was in stoppage time and the events that followed in the champions league this i why this is one of the best. and most important goals ever. These are all legends because they are all one man club. At the end Great players comes and goes but Legend will be remembered as long as club lives.
