The Liverpool midfielder praised the striker after he scored a wonder goal in the match against Norwich to seal his hat-trick. Gerrard spoke about the vision the Uruguay international possessed within him in order to spot the goalkeeper out of this line from the centre circle. It was a goal that was very much reminiscent of the one David Beckham scored during his time in England. It means that Luis Suarez now has his first hat-trick of the season and for Liverpool as well.

Liverpool will be taking on Chelsea in the FA Cup final next weekend. Prior to that, they have a league game as well. As a result, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish decided to rest Steven Gerrard for the match against Norwich City. He is expected to be back in the squad for the FA Cup final match. Liverpool had the opportunity to win the second title of the season after they have already lifted the Carling cup, but Gerrard reckons that it will be a tough match against Chelsea. It was great finishing and we as a team could have had more. That’s the type of player he is, but I still had confidence he could get the third,” said Gerrard.
